Crease Legal
Updated 28 October 2026
Policies for Crease
This section covers policies for crease for the legal notice. Use the scorebook and public sharing tools only for information you have authority to provide.
The operator can review support, access and content requests through Contact & support. Include the affected URL and a clear description so the request can be investigated.
Match creator and operator responsibilities
The match organizer is responsible for the event, player permissions, playing conditions and the accuracy of score entries. Crease is a scoring tool and does not organize or insure the match.
Use the service only when you have authority to provide the information and media involved. Follow applicable rules and the requirements of any venue, club, school or broadcast destination.
Automated match awards and ratings
Player awards and performance summaries are derived from recorded scorebook events. They are informational match statistics, not official sporting rankings or selection decisions.
Correct the underlying delivery or player attribution when a statistic is wrong. Corrected scorebooks update the derived reports and results.
Privacy, security, and retention
Match records, revisions, photographs and support messages remain in the configured database or object storage until the operator removes them. This installation does not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule.
Image trash is reversible. Browser storage keeps cached scorebooks and pending deliveries on that device. Export pending changes before clearing browser data. Contact the operator for deletion requests.
Image uploads and hosting
You must have permission to upload and share each image, logo and portrait, including permission for people shown. Match photographs are visible through public match links.
Uploads are checked for supported format and size. This installation does not claim that automated checks can establish consent, ownership or the safety of every image. Use Contact & support to report an image.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics consent
No analytics or advertising scripts are installed in this release. Optional embedded media can contact the third-party provider after you permit and start playback.
Use Cookie settings to save or change media preferences. Essential access cookies and offline storage remain necessary for their respective features.
Accessibility and disability access
Creating a match does not require an account. A signed browser cookie identifies its creator on that browser. Separate Umpire and Director PINs control match actions on other devices.
PINs are stored as salted hashes. Delegated sessions expire after twelve hours. The operator’s owner login is separate from the public creator flow. Keep PINs and downloaded access receipts private.
Complaints, takedowns, and rights requests
You must have permission to upload and share each image, logo and portrait, including permission for people shown. Match photographs are visible through public match links.
